This will be the toll-free DPBA information hotline. It should be active on 2/15/08. This phone number will provide our members access to valuable information at all times. On Pro-tour weekends, it will provide our bowlers with information on the cut, any additional relevant information for bowling on Sunday, and results. In addition, it will always be able to provide our bowlers with information on tour dates, the mailing address to send in your entry fee, and any additional relevant information. Please program your cell phones.

This website is used as an avenue to disseminate information to members of the DPBA Tour. In an effort to provide our members with as much relevant information as possible, there will be information on this website that is password protected. • Must bowl 1 Northern and 1 Southern stop to be eligible

»Slow bowling

• When possible, we will bowl 2 games on each pair, then skip 2 pairs, instead of moving every game.
• When shifts are not full, we will bowl as threesomes. If you prefer to bowl as a threesome, sign up for the shift most likely for that to occur.

»Drinking

• You may not drink while you bowl.
• You may drink after bowling with your Pro-tour shirt on.

»Dress code

• Lettering - must still be 2.5 - 3 inches and include your first and last name. You may design and letter your shirt to provide for individuality. May contain any type of lettering and design, as long as its legible.

Please note that there is NO FRIDAY SHIFT at Johnson's. There are only 3 shifts on Saturday - 8:30am, 1:30pm & 6:30pm.

The list of lane assignments for the Town Hall stop and the Eastpoint letter and directions have now been posted.

Top seeded Don Dove won his 15th DPBA Tour stop by defeating Bernie Hipkins, 146-144 at Victory Lanes in Portsmouth, VA.

A new list of lane assignments has been posted. Also, we will be taking 24 qualifiers at the Victory Tour stop.

Anthony Quinn defeated Mark Berends, 190-143, to win his first DPBA Star, June 24 at Highand Bowl.

Don Dove defeated top seed Jeff Henderson, 156-134 to win his 14th DPBA Tour stop at Longmeadow Bowl on Memorial Day weekend.

If anyone scheduled at 8:30 AM on Saturday could possibly change to Friday (1:00 PM or 6:00 PM) or Saturday (6:30 PM), we would greatly appreciate it. Please contact Sue ASAP. Thanks!

Dom Caprinolo defeated top seed Eric Barnes, 153-140 to win the first stop of 2007 at Highland Bowl this past weekend. Photos and video coming soon.

»DPBA is now officially enrolled in the Corporate Business Program. Membership cards will be available at Highland Bowl where bowlers may pick them up upon checking in. The hotels that are part of the Choice Hotel Business Rate program are as follows:

Each member will get the card and can call or go online when booking their hotel room.  Here is the information you will need (until you get your card) to make a reservation.

Simple, to book your stay at a Choice brand hotel, simply dial: 800.258.2847 or go online at choicehotels.com and where it says ENTER YOUR SPECIAL RATE. It will prompt the user to enter in the ID# 00710235 and it will load up Duckpin Professional Bowlers Association. If you call, make sure you tell them you are part of the Choice Business Rate Program and give them the ID# or you won't have any savings on your room rate.

»The web site has changed. Our new redesigned site is larger on the screen which allows for more viewing area. And for you geeks out there, the site is written in XHTML/CSS which complies with today's web standards. The most recent browser versions (IE7 or Firefox2) should be used. If you have any problems viewing the site, please contact the Webmaster.

»The domain name has changed (sort of). The old DPBA.ORG domain name still works, but it now points to the new DPBATOUR.COM domain name. Same content on both sites.

»New Online Forms! You can now fill out a membership application or bowler profile form online.

»DPBA Tour members now get a free DPBATOUR e-mail address. View the instructions page on how to get your DPBATOUR e-mail. Tour letters and information will be e-mailed to everyone as they become available. You can access your DPBATOUR e-mail from any computer that has internet access!
