Governing Body Openings

The DPBA is an organization for bowlers run by bowlers. Every dollar we take in is the property of our members and used to run our organization on a daily basis. We can appreciate that many of our members want to participate in DPBA events and not worry about the day-to-day inner-workings of the DPBA. Our existing Governing Body members donate a significant amount of their personal time to this organization. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to your Governing Body representative. Governing Body members are listed in the "Governing Body" section of the website.

The Governing Body is responsible for all things DPBA. It's important that all bowlers are adequately represented as all critical issues like by-laws, prize lists, annual budget, and fines are decided by votes of Governing Body members. We have openings available in Maryland and Western Maryland. We also have alternate positions available in almost all geographic regions. If you are interested in being involved please reach out to Luke Robustelli or any existing Governing Body Member.

Professional Conduct

We are a professional organization. As such, while our members are on the lanes, we expect them to act with a high standard of professional conduct. A small list of unacceptable behavior includes throwing the ball from the back of the approach, throwing the ball between your legs, throwing the ball outside of your normal delivery, poor attitude, and poor language. This is a general notice of warning to all bowlers.
