Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the DPBA Pro Tour?

Joining is easy. Any bowler with a 125 average or higher can join the DPBA. You can contact any Governing body member. The application link is at the top of this page. Please fill one out and mail to the DPBA to reserve your spot. A $50 Membership applies. Further information will be sent to you. Bowlers who are under 125 may join by a Governing body member sponsor. They will sign off on your ability to compete at the DPBA level.

How do I qualify for the Masters?

The Masters is the DPBA final event of the season. It is open to ALL members of the DPBA and is a premium event. The only requirement to bowl in the Masters is that you must be a DPBA member.

How are Bowler of the Year points calculated?

BOY points are awarded by Section T-17 of the By-Laws chart. There are many points awarded at an event and it's very extensive to list. The exact points are always available at an event by seeing the director or GB member.
